46. 0. May 24, 2014. #1. I need some advice from Garden Party fans. I am totally knew to Hermes and think of getting a Garden Party 36. I have two kids and it seems to be quite a practical bag. I found a canvas/leather 2006 and a full leather 2012. The price difference is about 1K USD and in comparable condition. The 36 is a fantastic bag for shopping, work and day to day traveling. Personally, as a travel bag between countries or weekender Id need something more 45-6 because I may need to put a blanket/jacket and wooly accessories (you can probably guess I travel in colder countries). All the leathers are pretty hardy.
