With a tiny 6” wrist, I feel like finally have the chance to join the Panerai community with a real Panerai-DNA watch. Definitely love how it look on my wrist. The smallest watch in the arguably dressier (within the landscape of modern Panerai) Radiomir line-up, Panerai’s original design from 1935, comes in at 42mm, but don’t despair if this seems large. A restrained 48.5mm lug-to-lug makes this offering very approachable indeed for our smaller wrists. A 47mm watch like this one is probably the purest expression of Panerai's history as a maker of tools for divers in need of extreme water resistance and legibility in deep water. This watch provides that with its 300 meters of water resistance . Panerai had been releasing a few 47mm and the 00372 caught my eye. Like the balanced and basic dial, especially the big fat letterings. I have a rather small wrist, about 6 1/3 inches.
That said, the PAM 372 is by no means a small watch at 47mm wide. Speaking of size, the PAM 372 utilizes the in-house P.3000 movement, a hand-winding calibre that measures a whopping 16½ lignes – roughly 37mm. The watch has a sapphire caseback that reveals the movement in its entirety.
