The grain leather is another selling point, totally indestructible. Toy Loulou is cute too, but I already have a few Chanel minis, and don't need another mini flap bag.

I never loved the tassel detail on the Mini Lou because it makes the bag heavier than it already is, and more cumbersome as it can get tangled with the chain strap. A couple of things to consider: 1) The black and gold has a high contrast with a very visible YSL logo. The beige and gold has a much lower contrast, with the YSL logo looking more inconspicuous and more subtle. From a distance I probably could see the gold YSL logo easily against black but not as much against beige.

The Lou Lou can be worn long as well or you can double the chain and carry on the shoulder or carry handheld. But it’s a little bulky if you wear it crossbody. Very risky I know. I do find that the strap is longer than I have expected, I'd prefer it to be slightly shorter (say by 2 inches).
